What is Kindpath Foundation?
Kindpath Foundation is a registered NGO based in Ghaziabad that works to improve the lives of vulnerable communities, including children in orphanages and elderly in old age homes. We've already helped over 1 lakh lives with various initiatives.
Why are water coolers needed?
Many old age homes and orphanages lack access to clean, cold drinking water, especially during hot summers. This can lead to dehydration and health issues. Water coolers provide a reliable source of clean, cool water that encourages proper hydration.
How much does a water cooler cost?
A complete water cooler installation costs ₹40,000. This includes the cooler unit, filtration system, installation, and maintenance for one year. However, donations of any amount are welcome and will contribute to our next installation.
What happens after I donate?
After your donation, you'll receive a confirmation email with your receipt. For donations of ₹1000 or more, we'll send you photos and videos of the installation once completed. You'll also receive an 80G tax benefit receipt for tax purposes.
Can I donate in memory of someone?
Absolutely! When making your donation, you can add a dedication message. For full sponsorships (₹40,000), we'll place a plaque on the water cooler with your dedication. It's a beautiful way to honor someone's memory while helping others.
Is my payment secure?
Yes, all payments are processed securely through Cashfree, a trusted payment gateway. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and various wallets. Your financial information is never stored on our servers.
How do I know my donation is being used properly?
We believe in complete transparency. For every donation of ₹1000 or more, we send photos and videos of the actual installation. You can see exactly where your money goes and the impact it creates. We also welcome donors to visit the installation sites.
Can I get a tax benefit for my donation?
Yes! Kindpath Foundation is registered under section 80G, which means your donations are eligible for tax benefits. We'll provide you with an 80G receipt that you can use while filing your income tax returns.
How do you select locations for water coolers?
We identify old age homes and orphanages where access to clean drinking water is limited. We prioritize facilities that have a larger number of residents and those in areas with extreme temperatures. We conduct a needs assessment before installation.
